Chester M. In 1894, Gus Rossier purchased the Lombard Farm on West Street in Paxton, Massachusetts. He was in the meat business for several years. Later, he ran his farm as a dairy farm and named it The Glad Hill Farm. He operated the farm until 1932 at which time his son, Clarence, took it over. A resident of Paxton for 44 years, Gus was a charter member of the Paxton Grange #309. He was a member of the Paxton Village Improvement Society and the Paxton Congregational Church. Gus died in Paxton at his home on Pleasant Street on June 21, 1938. He was 76 years old and was buried in Paxton, Massachusetts. |
