Louise was born on July 17, 1884. She was a college graduate and a school teacher. She was a feisty, independent individual with two parents of the same type. She bought and drove her own car before 1920 and did extensive traveling.

On March 25, 1920, she married William Druschel who was 11 years younger. William's real name was Heinrick Daniel Druschel but he always went by William. His parents came to this country from Germany and he was orphaned soon after they were here. He had a brother and a sister but was separated from them when his parents died. He was sent to a foster home in upstate New York and was to never see them again.

William was a sort of local hero because of his service in World War I. He experienced months of trench warfare as a machine gunner. He was an active leader in the local church, school and agricultural affairs. Their only son, Henry (Hank), was born March 10, 1921. William and Louise also had a daughter, Margaret, born November 5, 1923.

William and Louise took over the Rossier farm after Henry died in 1930. Louise died on October 8, 1965. William died February 25, 1983. He spent the last nine years of his life at his son Henry's home in Avon, New York. William and Louise are buried in the Pine Bank Cemetery in Chesire, New York.
