Henry served three and one-half years in the Air Corps during World War II. He married Barbara Parray on June 21, 1947. He spent 30 years as a school administrator. Currently, Henry is active in politics, church, the local historical society, gardening, and The Rotary Club. He was named "Rotarian of the Year" and "Citizen of the Year" in 1990. Barbara is a retired English teacher. Henry and Barbara have four children: Deborah, David, Stephen, and Susan.
