Douglas and Mary operated a farm machinery business in Ferrisburg, Vermont for many years. They have two sons and two daughters: Charlie, Susan, Glenn, and Ann. After retiring, they moved to Holland, Vermont and later to Danville, Vermont. Douglas keeps busy growing flowers and vegetables. Mary is famous for her many kinds of homemade soaps. They enjoy selling their goods at area farmer's markets.
