Albert attended Newton Theological Seminary and was ordained a Baptist Minister in 1897. He married Ephanie St. James on June 22, 1897 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, living at 111 1/2 Myrtle Ave. at the time.

His wife, Fanny, suffered from nervous disorders and was in and out of hospitals several times during their marriage. It was said that she died in a fire at a hospital in Canada around 1907. Albert and Fanny had five sons.

Albert was a man who yearned for adventure. The Canadian Government offered land to homesteaders and Albert thought this a temptation he could not resist. He finally acquired land in Alberta. This was about 1909 to 1913. The land is now a part of an oil field and is still referred to as the "Rossier Field."

Albert did pastoral work for 47 years, first serving in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Other places he was pastor included Stryker, Ohio; Detroit, Michigan; Highland, Illinois; Compton, California; Inglewood, California; Baker, Oregon; Woodland, California; North Troy, Vermont; and Waterville, Maine.

About 1923, he married Bertha Bowen. This marriage lasted about ten years. He died at Waterville, Maine, March 2, 1943. He was married to his third wife, Mary, at the time.
