Virginia Corrette Jackson graduated from Thompson School of Practical Nursing, Brattleboro, Vermont in 1966 and practiced at the Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, Vermont where she met her husband, David Peter Hebert, M.D. of St. Albans, Vermont, a graduate of the University of Vermont College of Medicine. They were married on July 19, 1970 and lived in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts during his internship and residency, settling in Torrington, Connecticut where he has a practice in Internal Medicine, specializing in Oncology. They have two daughters, Elizabeth Corrette, born September 9, 1973 and Melissa Mary, born April 9, 1976. Elizabeth is attending the University of Connecticut.
