Lorrie attended Champlain College, and was married on May 21, 1977 to Steven Washington Benoit. They have two children, Dustin Perry, born January 13, 1983 and Amanda Rose, born May 9, 1985. They first moved to Salinas, California where Steve was stationed at Fort Ord nearby. Lorrie has been self-employed in the Accounting field, works part-time, and is a proud homemaker. Steve has moved with Mission Industries to corporate management, now (1995) based in Sacramento, California and they live in Galt.
