Alice and Nathan lived in Eden for about 22 years. Nathan worked in the asbestos mines and farmed. They had six children: Norman, Larry, Esta, Jacqueline, Michael, and Linda. They moved to Morrisville in 1955. Alice worked as a cook for the Morrisville schools. They were members of the Morrisville Congregational Church. Alice died June 28, 1967. Nathan died July 26, 1984. They are buried in the Eden Cemetery, Eden, Vermont.
