Wesley Murry Rossier was the only child of Ulrich and Bertha Rossier. He was born August 6, 1895 in West Medway, Massachusetts. In 1900, his parents moved to Clinton, Massachusetts where he got his education through the first years of high school. He spent the next two years at the Rockland Military Academy in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. He stayed with his aunt, Alice Perron, during that time. In 1915, he entered the Fitchburg Normal School and two years later had a teaching job.

Wesley volunteered for the Army in World War I. He was sent to the Army Balloon School in Omaha, Nebraska and became a 2nd Lt. Balloonist to direct artillery fire. After the war, Wesley married Mildred Helen Haight in 1919. He worked five years for the U.S. Employment Service and then 38 years as Coordinator for the Pittsburg public school system.

Wesley and Mildred had three children: Wesley Rossier, Jr., born 1928, died 1944; Marion; and Lucille. Wesley also served four years in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was discharged with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He retired from the Pittsburg school job in 1957.

Wesley died in Houston, Texas on July 12, 1984. He is buried at the Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
