Laurence "Larry" graduated from the University of Vermont in 1957. He was married to Barbara King of New Braintree, Massachusetts in 1958. Barbara was active in 4H, took business courses after graduation, and was employed in Worcester, Massachusetts. Larry and Barbara have two children: Glenn Alan, born June 2, 1964; and Karen Sue, born September 17, 1968.

Larry eventually took over his father's farm in Spencer and in 1982 he purchased a farm in Cassville, New York where the family relocated. Robert "Bob" and Marion moved to Sauquoit, New York at that time to be near the Cassville farm.

Glenn graduated from Cornell University and is in partnership with his father on the Cassville farm.

Karen, also a graduate of Cornell University, has been employed with Farm Credit and on the family farm. She was married to Donald Livingston, a West Winfield, New York farmer on September 24, 1994.
