Diana was born in Norwood, Massachusetts. She grew up and attended parochial schools in Norfolk, Virginia. Diana married Doug Foster, a Chesapeake Police Officer, on May 16, 1987. Their first child, Dana Marie died at birth. They have two daughters, Cassie, born September 6, 1994 and Lauren born March 23, 2006. They live in Chesapeake, Virginia.
