Thomas married Lucille Potter. He worked for many years on construction of homes in the western New York area. They purchased a farm on Rossier Road. Tom died October 4, 1990 and Lucille passed away on January 21, 1991. They are both buried in the Chesire Cemetery. Their daughter, Lisa, resides on the farm.
